- Lynda Mcavoy Review added: 2018.05.25★ ★ ★ ★ ★I had occasion to attend A and E on Sunday morning due to a deteriorating eye condition. The care I received was excellent. I was seen within an hour by the triage nurse followed by the nurse practitioner. My eye was thoroughly examined and I was referred on to the doctor who I assume was on call. He saw me in the eye clinic and gave me medication and reassurances. He too was excellent. Although I had to wait for the doctor I was given a time so was able to buy some lunch at the hospital. This department needs praise when there is so much negative news about the NHS. I support them fully in being given a decent pay rise as we cannot afford to lose such wonderful people who often work under such difficult circumstances.
